# Personal Items

In Blockchain Cuties Universe all items have one of the following parameters: 

* Personal
* Non-Personal

This parameter dictates if the item is tradeable on the in-game marketplace or not. Personal items can not be sold on the marketplace, Non-Personal items can. 

For some items, this parameter can be changed through the unbinding process in the [Forge](/blockchain-cuties-universe-knowledge-base/bcu-mechanics/crafting/forge.md). 

Personal items are marked with a chainlink icon on the item itself in the preview.
