In this document, we will show you in detail how to bridge your ETH BCUG to HT BCUG.

First, we have to open the polybridge that allows users to bridge their tokens. To use this tool you will need a metamask extension for your ETH wallet.

Metamask can be found here:

You will also need to add BCUG as an asset in metamask. To learn more about adding tokens to your metamask please refer to the following documentation:

ETH BCUG contract address: 0x14da7b27b2e0fedefe0a664118b0c9bc68e2e9af

Now that the basic setup is done, we can go to to bridge our ETH BCUG to HT BCUG

On the page, you will see a button to connect the metamask wallet.

Click on the “Connect wallet” button and select ETH first and connect the metamask using the prompts

When it is connected the “Connect Wallet” button will change to the following icon :

Important: Do the same process for HECO as well. You can open the Wallet menu by clicking on the V-shaped dropdown on the top right near the Metamask Icon on the page.

Now that everything is set up for the transaction, you can select the Asset and where you want to bridge it.

To bridge BCUG from ETH to HECO it should look something like this:

  1. Select BCUG

  2. Select Ethereum

  3. Select HECO

  4. Type in the amount you want to bridge.

  5. Click “Next” when done.

When you click “next it will ask you to approve the transactions using polybridge. Make sure you tick the “Infinite Approve” if you do not want to approve a transaction before it’s requested every time. (each approval request is an additional transaction at a low fee)

This is what the approve request looks like in MM:

When you approve polybridge to access the tokens to be used on the platform, you can make a transaction.

Starting a transaction, the website will open up a popup for you to monitor its progress:

When finished, the transaction details will have all the links to the hashes for you.

Congratulations, you have successfully bridged your BCUG to HECO!
